Bands/DJ's

Bands

All social ballroom dances feature live music from one of the bands below. See the Calendar section for a list of band schedules. Dance the night away to music ranging from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s up to contemporary hits. Music for Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing, Samba, Merenge, and Polka are played at appropriate tempi for ballroom dancers.

  • Mike Surratt and The ECB

The average music lover doesn't listen to only one music genre/style. Why should a band only play one type of music? This band will take you on a journey to the grand ballrooms that had the music of Glenn Miller, the sock-hops that rocked around the clock, through a doorway into the 60's and 70's, and finally ending up on a sunset beach listening to summertime boardwalk sounds or tropical Caribbean rhythms.  ECB's basic format is a trio of professional musicians consisting of: Mike Surratt (on Keyboards/Vocals) Alan Jones (Saxophones/Clarinet), and Joe Stec (Drums) Come join the fun as the ECB whirls us away on a dancing adventure!!

  • The Josh Squared Duo

Josh Squared features two (you guessed it!) JOSHES! With the ability to play music from the best of ballroom to Bruno Mars, they are quickly becoming widely known on the private party circuit for the ability to get the crowd on its feet. Josh Tindall leads and fronts the band after spending many years with his parents' ballroom dance band  'The Headliners,' performing throughout the Northeast.
